Oh, that would be great to read through. My other two don't have tails like this, so i thought she might be a he.I used to think the same thing with Easter Eggers! They usually have long, floppier tails than other breeds. It looks like this chick has female patterning, so I was thinking pullet. I will have to see if I can find the Easter Egger sexing thread, I learned so much reading through there! Was convinced one of my hens was a rooster until I read that thread. Lol

100%.I've had plenty of hens with tufts of feathers like that right before the tail. The original photo shows a chicken that is absolutely a pullet.
This is a pullet, too. Long pointy tail and thick curves flowing down, closer to the bum fluff.Like this?
