I think I was mistaken...Americauna not Araucana?

I bought this pullet at the local feed store and they were all labeled Araucaunas. Is she really an Americauna?

She is what is called a Easter egger. Which means she is not a pure Ameracauna, you will still get the colored eggs.

Feed stores don't sell Ameraucanas or Araucanas, but that's how they label them.

She is a pretty standoffish girl, and she's also an escape artist. Until her face started turning red, I thought she looked like a hawk.
