Please tell me your preferences on brand and type of thermometer/hygrometers. I need something budget friendly.

you can try the accurite at walmart mine were never off more than 1 degree...the best is the brinsea spot check but its $$$. As for hygrometers, I use ones from the pet shop reptile department for like 4 bucks!

i use a reptile thermometer from petco... the electronic ten dollar ones... but lately, i've just been reading the temp on my ronco temp controller...


humidity, i use the hygrometer from petco... calibrated to 76% with the salt test, and was only 5 bucks... pretty good IMO... it's the petco brand one...
