Ah..ha. See, I told you I wasn't familiar with brown leghorns. Maybe the wattles grow faster on BLH's also (or mine were slow). I like that comb - looks pretty and much more feminine than the ones my WLH's have.

Well now...I read the tittle to this post and was getting ready to explain the birds and the bees to a confused poster.....

Hey! Don't mock the rooster! He might be little but he's going to be one hum-dinger of a boyfriend to Kezzie's pullet!

My (hopefully) pullet says that she will be your girlfriend once your voice deepens a bit. Of course, if she turns out to be a he, s/he hopes that you are willing to consider a non-traditional relationship...

Yep, s/he's definitely a rosecomb brown leghorn. The wattles are just unlike any of my other pullets of the same age although s/he's my only BLH.

We'll send new video once the hormones kick in! We're from California... there's no such thing as traditional anything out here.

that MUST be a pullet. I have a 3 week old Brown Leghorn that I bought as a pullet, and at 3 weeks, it's comb is MUCH larger than yours' AND it's already starting to crow. Mine is a roo fo sho.
