With that type of feeder, it's pretty much impossible to keep them out of it. You might try putting the bar back in. Now that they're a little older they might not be able to get in it as easily.

I'm so sorry. I was just about to post that from the looks of the picture she seemed too far gone. I would start working on the other one though - she looks pretty lethargic also. It's best if you can start before they are unable to eat and drink on their own. You did your best - sometimes you just can't save them.

I am so sorry for your losses but be confident in yourself, you have raised other chickens and they have thrived right? So sometimes it is just not up to us and nothing we do makes it better. You're trying though and that is what counts, so I hope the best for the rest of your flock.
