I know it from my experience with the BZA and from reading the meeting materials involving other BZA cases. It is pretty obvious. They will recommend conditional approval if a building is already in place or is under construction. The ones where there were no previous violations or involving big companies can do just about what they want.

Anyone who wants to apply for any type of variance really should go through previous cases and read them. It is very infomative.

What you won't see is where zoning has been caught in a downright lie. They go back and change the info so the other party can't go after them for libel.

That's what we are waiting on. The minutes from the last one will be approved next week. We will go from there.

On the first one they even changed some of my information. We provided proof that we had the sewer tap installed and they put in the paperwork and on the internet that we weren't tapped in to the sewer system. And their photo presentation showed only the one really nice yard beside us, didn't show the trash heap I have to look at 2 doors over. They didn't even show what the front of our property looked like after we moved the vinyl shed in the crate (what zoning called trash) into the back yard. One of the neighbors who wasn't even in the notification area was allowed to slander us and told a bunch of lies which we were not allowed to dispute. So much for not allowing inflamatory and slanderous comments.
