You are getting nervous, no doubt, on the upcoming event. All men have their quirks some worse than others. A vehicle thing in not uncommon. We bought a Buick park Avenue for the size and good gas mileage, but HE has to drive the big diesel pick up that gets maybe 15 mpg. The 'granny' car (as we call it) is not 'him'

OK i went as far as "tinkin" out my mommy van ...opps I mean mini van to stop hubby from driving it but nope..

I understand the Jeep thing. My DH had to sell his beloved Jeep 6 years ago when we ran out of money after remodling our house. Had to get the cash to finish up some important house stuff. He drools over Jeeps on CL and Ebay constantly. I feel bad.

BUT, I feel your pain!

Just take the working Jeep and GO!
