Everyone I know is fed up with me going on about my young Anca... So I'll bug you guys instead... I've never had a boy before so don't know if they are all cheeky or just him lol but he's such a character! And I never knew cockerels actually strutted... God knows what I'm going to do when he crows properly!

Yep, cockerels are cheeky little things. Its cute at first, but at around 6 months it can become an issue. I'd advise reading through the many threads on roo behaviour so you will know what to expect and how to avoid the pitfalls. Please don't misunderstand me, many roos are totally fine (so i have read here on BYC) but both of mine were tinkers and i have a roosterless flock (but some very ballsy 5 week old ones, but they don't count - yet at least).
