My humidity was around 74 last night ~ now it is at 88%. I popped the window out and took out the wet sponges and put 1 dry one back in.

How do I lower the humidity...it's 100% outside. We have rain moving through.

Thanks everyone!

Taking out the wet sponges should do the trick. Even with 100% outside the heating element should lower it in the incubator. Just watch it to make sure it doesn't go too low.

Thanks. It's been an hour and still sitting at 88%. Is there a chance they could drown? Sorry ~ should have asked that in the OP.

they'll be fine. keep the windows on the incubator!! They need the warmth
