1) What type of bird , age and weight- `16 month old Silver Laced Wyandot
2) What is the behavior, exactly- limping
3) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma- no trauma, has a warm swollen ball of the foot. Looks like an infection.
4) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation- ?
5) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all- eating mash and scratch, drinking water normally
6) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny?- normal
7) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?- Soaked foot and looked at pads of feet, both look swollen, one VERY swollen roughly the size of a rubber bouncy ball and warm. No scabs on bottoms of feet that I can see.
8 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?- will do treatment myself... if instructed how to do so.
9) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.- not at the moment but when the hubby gets home will be able.
10) Describe the housing/bedding in use- housed in coop, bedding is thick bed of straw.

It fits with bumblefoot except for the lack of a scab or sore on the bottom of the foot. I hope you will post a pic.
