I had my windows open over the night and I woke up this morning to the sound of a duck quacking. But the quack sounded odd, like something was wrong with my duck. So I hurried downstairs and looked outside to find a mallard duck in my pond with my 2 rouens with the female partner perched on top of my garage. My 2 rouens Dewey and Darla probably haven't seen another duck (besides my rescue chick this week) Dewey and Darla didn't look too happy with this intruder, both sets of ducks were yelling at each other! I let out my dog and when the ducks saw me they flew away. I wonder if they will be back and should I be worried about my ducks? Maybe those mallards came looking for their baby they abandoned last week? lol Never had visitors before to my pond...
