I "THINK" My Apartment is Magical!!!

I have zero ability to grow or keep any type of plant alive. It's not that I don't try...I actually think I try too hard?

I have had a plant that has been dead for two years now. It was just a pot in my old apartment. I've done NOTHING with it since, well, it was just a pot of dirt. I was going to dump it, but decided to just keep it as it was when I moved. I brought it inside. This plant has had ZERO sunlight, but it's GROWING.

There are stalks of something coming up...and it looks like it's the old plant! I haven't done anything different with it than what I did in my old apartment. When I saw the pieces of plant coming up...I sprinkled it with water...and it's growing ridiculously now!!!!

I swear! I walk by and see where something has changed each time! There was one stalk, then that died because I put it outside to get sun. So I brought it back inside. It's next to the oven now...and the next day there were TWO small stalks! Now there are 4 and the "small" stalks are 5" tall!!!

Is it POSSIBLE that the plant didn't like the conditions in my old apartment? Other than you know, the plant actually living...any ideas on what changed?

Just kidding. Some plants are tempermental and only do well in certain locations. It must like your house.

I used to know what it was...

I "think" it's a lily of some sort, but it has purple flowers instead of white. The flowers look like trumpets!

mine always die back like that and come back up from the bulb. thats just what they do. i have white and yellow callas. bulbs can go dormant until conditions are more favorable. i would water it more, they like water.
