I think my chickens can tell when I’m sad

I got some sad news about a family member today and I went out to sit in the run: immediately two chickens jumped up to snuggle (not common for them) and several others followed. Seriously seemed like they knew I needed it.

Chickens are smart very smart they probs feel you are a bit upset what lovely gals tho that pic is adorable hope done the job and helped a bit
