I think my chickens have scaly leg mites! What should I do?

Thank you @Ra_. I am not selling my bantams eggs so egg withdrawal won't be a problem.
Had some many years ago. Went through all the vaseline, mineral oil with tea tree oil, Nu-stock, etc. cures. Messy and ineffective.
I then got injectable Ivermectin and put some in an old B-12 bottle with an eye dropper. Every 6 or 8 weeks, I put a drop on the bare skin in each bird's armpit. Give one drop for each pound the bird weighs.
Problem solved.
It also kills just about any type of internal worm.

Pics of legs, please?

Can you post some photos?
Hello again. Sorry I have not posted pictures as quick as I would have liked to but I finally have them. Right now the scales are not as raised as before but I do have one more quick question. The bottom and right pics are of roosters who have some strange red spots around their feather shafts. The spots have never bled before. Thanks.

No zooming :(

From what I can see, yes, I would apply the vaseline or oil of choice to the legs a couple of times a week. Work underneath the scales to smother the mites.

Hard tell about the rooster's legs, could be coloring from hormones or just a little irritation from the SLM.

The read appears to be on the feathers not the skin of foot?
Also see what looks like and unsheathed feather near lower left of pic,
makes me think the red may be blood from a broken pin feather?

Feather footed birds can have/make all sorts of problems, especially in my climate, why I don't keep them anymore.

Oh, and....Welcome to BYC! @Chickenlover24333
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
