I think my duck is dying.

So I had gotten three ducks, they grew got almost feathered. I got another duck and the three older ones didnt like him so he stayed in my room. We waited a while and got him a friend, but his little duck friend died over night. SO now for the main concern the morning I found the little duck dead my older one seems sick.
His symptoms include:
Stumbling
Constant blinking
Decreased appetite
Thirsty
Stomps his feet if he does walk
Nasal discharge
Lethargy
Please help me, it was hard losing the first little guy.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your baby, it is a hard one I understand I just lost one of mine a few weeks ago.
if you are able to afford a vet I would suggest taking him to an avian specialist. I do understand not all of us can afford to do so, that's why we have this website. it sounds like you're older duck is very sick and need some help I could give you suggestions of what other people have given me when I had a baby with similar symptoms, just let me know if you want my advice.

also you may want to post in emergencies forum as there are quite a few certified thats who often check and are more able to help.

I'm so sorry...I've also lost a little one, and a month later I'm still not over it. If you need any support, just tell us, okay? We're here for you.

I also recommend taking the remaining one to a vet ASAP, if he's exhibiting the same symptoms then there could be a bad infection or disease that he caught. If money is a huge issue then get a fecal pap, which is an affordable test just to see the number of bacteria in its poop, and what kinds. The survivor may need to be put on antibiotics, and unless he gets treatment soon he could go downhill fast. I hope you're able to get another buddy for the poor dear, and please keep us posted, okay?

Also, where did you get the one that died from? I'd be worried about their other babies too :/

Firstly, from what I understand, it's great that he is still eating and drinking. If that stops then the situation has gotten worse. Please remember I'm not a professional!!!

The next thing I would do is separate the sick duck from the others and bring him inside if possible. This with make it easier to keep a close watch.
Monitor food and water intake, using measuring cups works well.

Are you giving any supplements? And what do you usually feed him? if he goes outside, or is a free range duck, Is there a possibility he's eaten something he shouldn't have?
Does his crop look larger than usual? Gently feel it and explain what it feels like.

Do you have any pictures of the sick baby?

Also if you can't afford a vet, I have suggestions that others on here had given me. Antibiotics, vitamins, elecrolytes.... feeding, watering.... warmth which is very important to a sickie....
