I noticed my duck eggs are somewhat wax coated so that way I can tell them apart from my chicken eggs that are about the same color. I can really notice the difference between the duck and chicken eggs when I write the date on the eggs with a pencil each day. The pencil dosen't write on the duck egg the same way as a chicken egg. Has anybody else noticed this?
