Ok firstly I sing... a lot
Have yall ever seen that scene in 'The Hearbreak Kid' when they are in the car and she sings EVERY song? Yeah totally me

I just have always loved singing. Ive sung since I can remember was in chorus all 3 years of middle school, etc.
Well usually I forget I have a window open somewhere and 9 times out of 10 Im wailing it like I was Whitney Houston

My neighbors always seem to avoid all contact with me or move out as soon as their lease is up

I think my weirdness scares them away

Sometimes I wonder if people have come to the door and turned around and left to avoid the awkward 'Yeah, I just heard you wailing it...' hello.

Cant help it, I just love singing!

Any secret weirdness you have and wonder if people caught you?

Ha ha ha yeah.. I make up my own words to songs and sing them while driving! I'm the leader of the local Dork club and I'm the only attending member!

my DH is the same way. I will be outside working in the yard and all I can hear is him singing loud and talking to himself in the house. I always tell him it's a good thing we don't live in a city because we would be the weirdos on the block. The funny thing is he makes up his own words to the songs and he really cracks me up. Yeah, I married a weirdo, but I love my weirdo!

There is a house next to us that no one lives in for more than 8 months. They either leave after a local festival (in which the small carnival sets up right in the street making it so they can't park in their drive, have people all over their yard, trash all over etc.

If they move in after that festival, they leave soon after Halloween. We do a crazy huge set up and it kinda scares people, a lot. We had a few years in which neighbors have called the police on us. At one point we heard them say over the scanner (dad was a firefighter) "It's Halloween for crying out loud, they do this every year! We aren't checking in on them!"
We also joke about the city sending new guys down to ask us for building permits and what we are doing. The city has gotten a little upset with us for building out into the yard in recent years, mostly because people were calling them constantly asking what we were doing. They eventually just started telling people "It's October, we don't know and won't know until Halloween." They have even asked if they can put out ad's for our house and have us open to the public for 2 days!

People in town know my family name is synonymous with crazy and weird

and we love it!

Oh by the way I decorate for every holiday, Christmas and Halloween, and Easter get the most followed by July 4th, and then Valentines and St Pattys and Thanksgiving (we have a 6 foot tall Turkey) lol
