I've been odd all my life. It's fun to work in a very conservative environment (law enforcement) and be a woman with vastly different opinions on many things. I'm 56, and spoke out way back when I was 22. Back before many law enforcement agencies even hired women for street patrol. I was in the 9-1-1 Public Safety Communications environment for 27 years before I promoted out of the Comm Center(s).

I have tattoos of dragons (and will be stealing another BYCer's idea of a chicken tattoo!) and have NEVER cared about my appearance the way most female employees did as the years passed. Really sucked when I was a supervisor and had to dress the way MY supervisors thought I should. I'm straight, a lot of folks think I'm gay. I have too many cats and dogs, and now I am keeping chickens and ducks. Building my own coops.

I ALWAYS have a sort of little doot-de-doot hummy thing going on. Mindless tune. I do have a problem with the last song I heard on the radio when I turn it off as I arrive at work; that song will stick with me until I can pull my little mindless doot-de-dooty hummy thing back out of the recesses of my mind. I hate it when it's a lousy song.

I dance in the back yard by myself.

hahahahahahah but thats fun Belle!!!!!! And they weren't kids, they were some guys a tad bit older than me. I never knew a .45 left a 4' trail of flame in the pitch black... It was like watching a clown car unloading, except in reverse.

I feel like I can trust someone who lets there weirdness show. But someone without obvious faults is someone to keep a close eye on (especially someone with authority).
