I think Phoebe is a Greg. How long till ducklings?

    So, I think Phoebe might not be a Phoebe. She's a Greg, lol. She/He doesn't have the "quack" and more of a hissy-raspy noise. I also notice the tail feathers are getting a little upwards curl. So how long before he/she and Imola (definitely a girl, that quack is LOUD) start trying to uh, make little duckies? Can he even mate with her if he's smaller than she is?
    They were hatched May 12. Wonder how cute little ancona/pekins will be? So excited for ducklings!

    It will be a few months yet before she is ready to lay- but she may not go broody until late winter or spring.. if you have an incubator you could try hatching some yourself before then so you could brood them inside where it would be warmer for the babies.
