I think the egg is dead, would it be smart to take it out ?

I candled about 5 out of 20 Blue Ameraucana eggs today and I'm pretty sure at least 3 were dead. Would it be smart to just take them out so the other eggs dont get a bacteria from them and die as well?

The air bubble in the bigger end has become a little imperfect, not perfectly round. It looks like its forming another bubble off the main air bubble.

and some I'm almost 100% on blood rings. Is the weird air bubble thing a result from too much humidity?

What day are you on ? If you're early I would wait a while.

How far into the process are they? If you have the room in your incubator and they don't smell or ooze I would just wait them out. The worst thing ever is to break open an egg and find a developing chick inside - trust me I know. You could move them to one corner and keep an eye on them over the next couple of days to see if you see any changes in them. Not sure about the air cell thing. Good Luck.

They are due to hatch this coming Friday 4-28. But I have other eggs in there that wont hatch till 5-5. This is the 2nd time I've had all the eggs from this lady die on me, if they are dead again! ARRGGHhh

Could it be the way she handles her fertile eggs before shipping?
