We are at the 6 week mark. She is still eating and drinking but seems to be getting weak. When a lesion starts to look like it's going to dry & heal, another one forms on top of it.
Are you messing with the lesions? It's best to not disturb them in my opinion. If you are starting to doubt whether she will make it, I always say give it a few days with the thought of culling her in your mind and you should be able to decide if you think it's the best choice. Only you can truly see what's going on, and whether you think she will make it.

We have used iodine as an antiseptic, and an antibiotic ointment for her eyes. But, you're right, it seems that the more we did, the worse it got. So...we've resigned ourselves to letting nature take it's course. Just making sure her environment is as clean and comfortable as possible with plenty of food and water.
The vet called yesterday to check on her progress. He offered to surgically remove some of the lesions to see if it would make her more comfortable, but I don't want to put her through anything that traumatic. My gut tells me it wouldn't help, and would probably end up doing more harm.
