I think they're eating the eggs....

One chicken was laying good eggs... another started laying just the yolks. I went to the hospital for a couple of days for childbirth, LOL! and I haven't been out there to check on them as often... well, I think that they started eating the yolk ones and now the hard shelled ones are disappearing. DH found a shell today and also a soft shelled one.

What can I do so that they won't eat the eggs anymore?

Start with clean nests, collect more frequently than once a day. Chickens will eat a damaged egg or even one that is just out on the ground for flock preservation. Sort of a stop the predators from even looking manuever. Make sure your girls have access to oyster shell and treat them to cottage cheese and yogurt treats every once in a while.
Then the bad news is: There are some that just eat the eggs and, well....stewpot!
