I think this SLW is a roo.

I am afraid this SLW (Silver Laced Wynadotte) may be a roo.

She/he is 5 weeks old. The comb turned bright red a week or two ago. I have another SLW that was purchased at the same time and her comb is not nearly as red. The coloring on the one I think is a roo is much nicer than the other one. Hopefully is is too soon to tell.

For some odd reason when I ordered this breed I just had a feeling that I should order two.

Both of my SLWs do not have a red wattle or red comb...I would guess roo...

Is he bigger than your other SLW? Cause I have one roo and 5 pullets, and my roo is noticeably bigger than my pullets. They're SLW's too. And yes, his comb is bright red compared to my pullets. Your bird looks like my roo, but it's kinda hard to tell.

No, this one is not bigger than the other. Both of my SLWs are the same size. They also happen to be the smallest of the 18 chicks. (I think they are nearly too big to call "chicks" much longer.)
