I think we have a rooster!

We are not allowed to have roosters in my neighborhood and we are very suspicious one of our three hens may in fact be a rooster. How in the world can you tell? I am sorry this has probably been asked and answered many times. It seems like the bird is one hair away from a full blown cocka-doodle-doo. THANKS!
