I thought a bathtub would be big enough!

I have 10 Welsh Harlequins in a bathtub in my family room. They are a little over 1 week old and I can't keep the thing dry. I'm using towels for the bottom of it and they soak though half of them within minutes.

Under their light is dry, but they seem to want to sleep by their water where it's all wet. I don't know what to do with the poor things. I'm wondering if I need to just tarp the whole room off and let them go. That would mean one gross family room.

I had no idea how messy these guys would be.

Edit: I do still love them though. They are so cute!

My 11 ducklings are 2 weeks old and were in the bathtub, all the sudden there was no room. I put them in a kiddie pool and it seems to be working better, although now they are in the middle of the family room. LOL Don't know where the next location will be since hubby hasen't started the duck/chicken coop yet!

That's a good idea. I need a big kiddie pool. How big is yours? And do you think it'll hold them long?

We have all the stuff for our coop but havn't started it either. I feel your pain. Hopefully we can get those hubby's on it soon!!!
