I thought she was a Buff Orpington.

Can anyone tell me if you recognize this type of hen. This is my neighbor's hen. She is very concerned that her hen doesn't lay any eggs. She got her hen few months older back in Spring.
My little one is starting to look like her and I thought mine was a Buff Orpington. What do you think? Thanks!

She's a mixed breed. If she free ranges in the day she may be laying somewhere sneaky and the owner just hasn't found the eggs yet. This hen also looks like it may be older, so it's possible she won't lay until Spring, when the days get longer. Chickens want 14 hours of daylight or more to lay well, especially older hens.
