Hatched April 20, so about 11 weeks old. Hatched from a blue egg so mother is an Egger of some sort, most likely a Prairie Bluebell. First pic, taken today, shows some pretty spiky hackle feathers but a rather insignificant comb and hardly any wattles. No red leakage on shoulders. Other pictures were taken earlier. Thoughts?

In the May 20 pic, her hatch-mate, the black chick next to her, already has significant comb and wattle growth at one month compared to the chick in question. That's why I assumed the white chick was a pullet.

I'd still say pullet... Can you get a clear, UTD picture of the saddle feathers?
Don't know. I'll try but it will be tomorrow evening at roost. All pics have been taken by my not-chicken-savvy DH, as I am still strugglig with a knee injury. But I can try to hobble out there tomorrow night and see what I can do, thanks!

Sorry to hear that, I hope you recover soon!
