Thank you for that encouragement. I figure the worst that can happen is that it doesn't work. In that case there still won't be a duck you can sex at hatch (yes I do know that you can sex certain crosses of color at hatch). Besides it gives me a great excuse for hatching out lots & lots of ducklings each year. Himself used to think that a dozen were a lot, now he doesn't blink at a hundred.
