I turned the big 40 today

I hit 35 last week, so I reckon I'm half way there now.

40 ain't that bad . I turned 41 last month. My 40th was hard 3 days after got put in hospital and had to have emergancy surgery done for a kidney stone.

Some consider life is like climbing a mountain. 40 is probably the top. The other side of the mountain in downhill and you pick up speed as you go. The 40's went in a hurry, the 50's sailed by, the 60's are racing. All I can say is Happy Birthday, hang on the life tightly, and enjoy the ride.
