Seems like here in N.C. we have to pay a heavy price for the warm spring days we have had. Everytime we have an 80* day we get scary storms next. Also the wind has been blowing 60 miles an hour since the first of March. Just glad we didnt get the bad stuff like Sanford, N.C. Praying for them still.

The weather here fluctuates. It depends on which direction the wind is blowing, I've figured out.

OK Whiteflare,

Is that 40C
or 40F

If you said 40F in summer, I'd ask if you lived in the upper peninsula of Michigan!

Hey! Watch with the UP jokes,eh?

Here in eastern Oklahoma it is WINDY hot, muggy, but dry. We are in the middle of a drought, worse on the western side of the state, which is unusual for us in spring. We have been having massive grass fires, tornadoes, earlier we had two official blizzards. Our weather is very volitile changes on a dime. I have seen it many times in the 80's when I went to bed and woke w/ freezing and snow.

Here was the Chicago Tribune's weather headline:

"Twisters, high winds and hail hit downstate; Upper Midwest whitened by late season snowstorm"

We hit the middle with 34 degrees and hail. I'll take it any day over tornadoes and 9" of snow. Hope all you effected are doing OK today.

Wish I could send some of you in the S Central US some rain.
