I wanna build a coop but how do I get started?

I've seen those and they are highly practical. Could use them for various things as well

Bear in mind that a majority of utube designs are lacking in space and ventilation.
At LEAST
4 sq feet per bird, in the coop.
10 pb in the run
1 square foot pb of ventilation 1
4" of roost bar pb.

When you say lacking in ventilation do you mean coop windows for the actual nest box /sleeping area portion of the coop? I actually don’t think the coop I have now has very good ventilation and I’d like to improve on that when I build a new one. How do I know there’s enough ventilation?

The coop area, where the sleep and lay. Windows, especially in prefab don't really count since it's often too low.
You measure, calculate and divide per chicken.
