I wanna move to Maine.....

I just got back from vacation and I don't wanna live here anymore. Texas is hot, brown and ugly! I wanna move to Maine.....

I just keep chanting in my head "four cords of wood, you need four cords every winter, four cords of wood". Unfortunately, its not working.

Please tell me why I shouldn't move to Maine and why Texas is better.

I love Maine! There are no nasty bugs really. When we visted the grandpa, we had to take a ferry boat to his house. You also have to learn to speak the lingo

My husbands parents are moving there this weekend. THey love it up there. And i do to..they have the BEST lobster anywhere! I say do it!

Speaking as a New Englander, you can't be sure you will like it here until you after you spend your first winter here. I love it here most of the time, but not in February!LOL!!! Fall is the best though.

Yeah, we had blackflies in Vermont too. I would MUCH rather deal with them then nasty scorpions, large flying cockroaches, poisonous snakes, and large poisonous spiders LOL
