i do 4-H shows. people in the poultry barn sometimes sell. becarful buying bird that have been to a ton of shows as they might have picked up mites. i got 2 white rock bantams in quarentine with scaly leg mites and one of them has a few other issues.
be aware that he looks huge because of the setting, in the first picture look next to him there is a cinder block and he's puffed up and close to the camera
in the 2nd picture he is being held by a 5yo
yes brahmas are very big, i have had a couple BUT they are not really that gigantic
I don't think many of them get that HUGE but, they are Big birds. I remember the videos for that enormous Brahma. I think it was tricked out to some extent, small pop door in the coop - so the bird would have to inch himself out through the opening very slowly. Also young child holding bird like that makes it look immense.
