I want a columbian mini Orpington for mothers day, how do I get it

I figured going from one to another was like crossing states, some rules differences, but not too big of a deal. Regardless, we have 9 months to prepare, so it can all get figured out. I need to be there for a couple weeks if we go, my father grew up with stories of "the homeland" so I need to get loads of pictures from like 1/2 of Scotland and the entire west coast of England
