So I have 21 chicks right now but I want a Rooster for them to keep the flock going but I don't know what to get that will work well with the hens I got. I have a mixture of Barred Rock,Black Sex link and I believe some Golden Laced Wyandottes. I love the way the Golden Laced Wyandottes Rooster looks would it breed well with the barred rocks and the black sex link?

How old are your chicks? Before you buy a rooster, you may want to see if any of your babies turn out to be cockerels. Even if you bought them as pullets, there's some room for error. You may end up with a perfect rooster from what you've already got.
That is true I wasn't going to get a rooster till next summer anyways, I May have a Cockerel they are about 3-4 weeks old

Maybe you'll get lucky and have one or 2 (but not too many, lol) already that your ladies will like. As far as the breeds, I don't much about any of those, but I don't see why the ones you've got and mentioned wouldn't be fine together. My friend has Orpingtons, brahmas, some eggers, a zombie, and several others. I think they all do just fine with the roos of various breeds.

Lol yes!! When she texted me one day and told me she had a zombie chicken, I asked if that was something she needed help with! 😆 Zombie chickens are a cross between Ayam Cemanis and something like a white leghorn. They're really beautiful birds. I'm hoping to get some zombie hatching eggs to successfully hatch out in the spring.
