My silkies were close to 10mo before they started to lay...

Then one had the nerve to molt while the other went broody. So now I have NO bantam eggs right now.

No, seriously, I understand that skilkies can be late layers. I had an EE who waited until she was 10 months old.

I feel your pain, my chickens and my duck are all about 24ish weeks and no eggs. As if it wasn't bad enough both of my neighbors younger new chickens and duck have all now started laying. One neighbor brought me some eggs last night to try and cheer me up.
