It would be easier to buy day olds...just keep your eyes open in your area...I've gotten many good deals from people who's ducks i saw running in their field. Runners might be easier to just order or hatch, we dont have many breeders/hobbyists(sp) with Runners around here.

I do prefer to hatch mine so that theyre imprinted to me and it makes for much friendlier ducks.

The Cayugas DO get the green glint on their black feathers when the sun hits them. The adult ones, anyway.

I'm sellin some eggs on ebay that you should take a look at. They are mostly Indian Runner and Crested Runners, so you'll get plenty of eggs and they're so friendly!
