I want to breedpure Black Pekin Bantams

I have Black Pekin Hens do I need a Black cockerel some one told me that I didn't ??? any one know.

If you want pure black pekins you need black pekin hens with a blue or black pekin rooster. Any other color rooster might give gold or red leakage on the feathers in the offspring.
