I already have two drakes, but I want to get one duck for eggs. I can't have too many ducks, and I really don't want to give away any of my drakes. Is it possible to get just one duck without problems? Should I just keep my drakes and not get a duck?

Too risky, you'd have to get another drake, because two males and one female would not work out very well, the female would most likely have severe mating damage most of the year., and adding another drake might result in fighting between the three. I would suggest against getting another duck of either gender.

Hello!
I had an unhealthy ratio of ducks to Drakes when I first started raising ducks (I purchased them straight run...so didn't know the genders upon purchase) I had five Drakes and four ducks and during the year they can get very aggressive and competitive for mates, one of my smaller runner ducks was actually killed due to the overexcitment and I assume suffocation by the Drake's 😞 I found her after the matter and it is a very disturbing thing to handle or go through. Hard lesson to learn. If you have two Drake's and are unable to get at least four to five ducks, I am not sure a duck and Drake situation might work. Unless you don't mind separating your flock partially throughout the year to prevent overbreeding. Also, if you want eggs to eat or sell, keep in mind they might be fertilized so you'll have to check for that. This doesn't bother some people if they're eating them fresh daily though. Or perhaps you want to raise your own ducklings?Drakes are beautiful and ideal for some because they aren't as loud, but a duck is great as well!
