i wish my third chicken could be an adopt-ee, but it seems that people would rather kill their chickens instead of rehoming them, i understand, it just sucks.

in fact, id love to just have a flock of disabled chickens that cant pick on eachother but can live happy chicken lives, haha, a girl can dream

Are you just looking for another hen?? Why not look on craigslist or try to find someone that has hens to give away. It does depend where you live but I'm sure you could find a few hens for sale and not just roo's on craigslist.
