Hi all,
I have two hens, and was told it is better to have three chickens as it fulfills their social structure. I want the best for my babies, and we were planning to increase the flock number anyway so I am thinking about getting a silkie chick, however I want to make sure it will work out. Will the two other hens (fully grown) be able to cope with a baby? I plan to be supervising all "playtime" with the other two, but since neither has gone broody, how would they react?
