but I'm worried about my drake hurting him.
Just wanting people's thoughts on saving this bantam rooster.
The drake already attacks my chickens...not harshly but he is rather pushy. Will the banty rooster be able to stand up to him or should I let someone else rescue him?

If you want to rescue the bird, seperate the drake and give him duck hens. He shouldn't be with hens anyways because he can hurt them terribly trying to breed with them (yes, he will try to breed with them, especially if they're the only females there)

Not sure how to separate the drake so that he would have shade. I have a lean to but when it's 90+, it's like an oven under the lean to.

Then the drake may need to go. Again, he shouldn't be with chicken hens anyways because he can hurt them severely
My ducks have always stayed with my chickens and never hurt them but this one is different. I cut out the branches from a holly tree and put him a kiddie pool under there. It's cool and lots of weeds but he is not happy cause I left the goose with the chickens. He won't let the goose dunk her head so her eyes are crusty. So this will benefit her as well.
