I want to see your handsome Easter Egger roos!

Rocky the rooster. He is not a mean rooster and he lets me pick him up :hugs. He's a sweet boy, protects our flock from foxes and hawks (almost got carried off by a fox, trying to protect chickens 😯) But he's good. (I know, I know, he needs a spurr trim 😄).

I'd love to see your EE roos and am curious to know if any throw mostly gold brown hens.

At any rate, gold or silver based or anything else, it'd be nice to see the roos!

In the future I'd like another EE flock and will be aiming for EEs which lay blue eggs and look wild type or partridge with that nice bright gold or gold/orange on the front of the hens and brown to black patterning on the rest of their bodies. Like wild type or partridge patterning. I think I have the egg part figured out, but am not sure about breeding for feather color. It's been suggested to look for a "golden duckwing" type roo, but I'm not sure what they look like in EEs.

Also, if anyone has bred them for the same gold brown colors in hens I'd love to get your feedback!
Here's my big red. He's given me gold, silver, and partridge offspring.

Here's an example of his offspring.

Here, they are my own so not "easter eggers" hoping to breed the black one to my Silkies one day for more bearded looks. Afterwards, I want to cross it over an Easter Egger or my Olive Egger in the second photo. Both those boys are F1 Olive Egger breeders.
