I was given a hen but I can't figure out what she might be!

She has very dark legs, and is dark in color with some brown/red "shading"... unsure of age since she was give to me.

Barnyard mix.

Very pretty colouration! She may have Easter Egger in her past.

I love her coloring! I have no idea or origin, but we don't have a lot of people who hatch their own eggs here, most often bought from hatcheries... She's one of my favorite, visually-- but she's not very friendly, quite skittish.

What colour eggs does she lay?

We don't think she is laying... I am only getting 3 eggs from my 6 hens... 2 from my Araucana/EE's, and 1 from my RIR
