The issue is that I live in a neighborhood and I don't want a rooster waking up these city folk at the crack of dawn. LOL. I actually get up around 4am everyday, but the neighbors might complain or I'd keep him. I'm guessing the ones without any comb are going to be hens, correct?That’s too bad.

Yes, most likely.
