That sounds good, we'll have to keep in touch. I agree, chickens can be an expensive hobby and not the best way to make profit. Lol
 
Welcome Super Mike, we promise not to tell your wife about the chickens behind the furnace. In fact you could tell her , you think you saw a mouse in the basement. Then she won't go down there at all. I know I wouldn't.

I told her 5 min ago... after she stopped crying and using the "D" word she said, "Let me see them... as she shoved me half way down the stairs... she saw the first chick #19 that was all it took to melt her heart :hugs. We kissed and made up. Here is a pic of the chick that saved my bottom & back end.

I told her tonight. I could not contain my self. Kids know too. Good thing I was wearing a diaper and can take a throat punch. lol
I covered both ends for this spectacular event!

"Showgirl" not exactly what I was picturing in my mind, well this showgirl is being a bully. I think some more room is in order. Weather is warming up for a week time to acclimate them. Anyone know how long it takes to acclimate 3 month old chickens to the outside temp. For fish its like 15min not sure on birds. Need some advice. Live in Toledo, Ohio
