Give me a few months they should be breeding and I will have them for sale soon. Eggs or chicks. Looking to have fun first. May be we can trade eggs or something down the road. It's not a get rich quick scheme. lol

That sounds good, we'll have to keep in touch. I agree, chickens can be an expensive hobby and not the best way to make profit. Lol

BTW a naked neck silkie is called a "Showgirl," the "girl" part is used for males & females. No wonder some chickens are really confused.

I told her 5 min ago... after she stopped crying and using the "D" word she said, "Let me see them... as she shoved me half way down the stairs... she saw the first chick #19 that was all it took to melt her heart . We kissed and made up. Here is a pic of the chick that saved my bottom & back end.

I know its mind blowing! I was thinking back to day 7 when I candled them. I thought that was amazing but the hatch is definitely taking the cake now!

I told her tonight. I could not contain my self. Kids know too. Good thing I was wearing a diaper and can take a throat punch. lol

"Showgirl" not exactly what I was picturing in my mind, well this showgirl is being a bully. I think some more room is in order. Weather is warming up for a week time to acclimate them. Anyone know how long it takes to acclimate 3 month old chickens to the outside temp. For fish its like 15min not sure on birds. Need some advice. Live in Toledo, Ohio
