...and I forgot what it was.
Don't you hate that when that happens?
Happens to me more often than I care to admit. Usually due to a lack of sleep. ( I work nights, so this happens often). Maybe you'll remember when you wake up. LOL
I work nights full time and days part time somewhere else. Sleep deprivation? Me? Never. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
What was I saying?
Oh, yeah, what I have had to do is 'tell myself' sometimes (quite often anymore) what I am about to do, go get, etc.
Otherwise, I would spend two days walking back and forth between rooms trying to figure out what I needed (and probably forget to eat in the meanwhile). I have even gotten to where I have to make a point of looking at (and paying attention to) where I set my coffee down. My whole day is filled with 'keys, keys, don't forget the car keys' Place the coffee on the counter and look at it, so (hopefully) I remember where it is. "The dogs are outside...." you get the point.
Sheesh, I have oldtimer's disease and I'm not (that) old yet.
(Will be a whole 'nuther year older far too soon, tho - friday.)
it happens more often now... I hate getting old. It ain't fer sissies.
Good choice not too, since its raining out there.
Lauren you are way too young for this to be happening!
happens to me all the time I will walk into the kitchen to get something and blank out.... and stare.... and then the wife will usually pop her head around the corner and ask me whats taking so long.....
What was I getting again?
I do it all the time. I get so distracted.
Ive heard that it happens more often now because of things like cell phones and internet..
Sleep deprivation, distractions and having too much on one's mind.....contributing factors to forgetfulness. Oh yeah an my excuse.....ADD. Pass the stickey notes......
ETA~ Oh and one more thing for us women.....childbirth. Each one of my kids took a little piece of my brain with them when they were born.....
