If you have eggs too you can make Clafoutis - It's like a yummy cherry custard! We made that when we had an excess of cherries last summer!! Boy are they good!

I just snagged 20 lbs. of cherries for $2 a pound. They are still about 3.99 in the stores.
I bought a hand pitter, so guess what I did last night? 10 lbs in the freezer, only 10 pounds left to go. Well, about 8 lbs if you take into account all that I have eaten so far.

I am going to try dehydrating some, but most are being eaten fresh or pitted and frozen. To dehydrate, all I need to do is pit them and cut them in half right?
Too hot to can right now, can I make jelly out of them after they were frozen?
