the post about what they can/cant eat. I am still new on having chickens and i do feed them our left over food. ( glad that others do the same) so far i feed them about what everyone else does but what about something that has sugar in it. i will feed them left over oatmeal that my kids dont finish and they eat their oatmeal with sugar. will sugar hurt them or effect the laying? What about meats? like hotdogs, hamburger?

Just like people, too much fat, sugar and processed foods are not good. The same thing goes with chickens. Just don't overdo it.
