I was told rooster is it a roo or pullet?

I was told this chicken was a young rooster there over 15+ weeks and the combs still small could anyone give insights on whether it might be a roo or pullet ?

Do you know what breed it is? Some breeds like the sapphires can have barred males, so it's apparent early, even before other signs. But if it's a breed that both sexes are barred, that won't matter.

I am very new to chickens, so definitely let others weigh in. I don't see anything that points to that bird being a cockerel though.

Edited to add- at 15 weeks, I'd really be expecting to see way more male characteristics. I think it's a pullet no matter the breed.

The mom is a barred rock, with the choice of about 4-5 possible roosters as the possible father which were barnyard mix, Easter egger, Rhode Island Red, splash laced red Wyandotte, and white leghorn
